Q&A – A Lesson in Strength and Health

1. How is Strength and Health Lesson different from PE?
Strength and Health Lesson is not a new version of PE – it is a completely new subject.
It is not based on team games, grades or competition.
Instead:
teaches how the body works,
shows how to build strength and health,
guides the child step by step through the process of strengthening muscles and getting to know himself biologically.
It's biology in motion, not just "physical activity."
2. Should this subject be compulsory at school?
Yes – because it concerns the fundamental biological competences of the child.
Just as we teach math and language, we need to teach how the body, muscles, nervous system, heart, and metabolism work.
This is not a luxury – it is a child's fundamental right to health and biological self-knowledge.
3. Who will lead the Strength and Health Lesson?
No – a PE teacher (unless he undergoes additional training), but a new type of teacher:
prepared in the field of biology, training, anatomy and psychology,
knowledgeable about biomechanics and educational applications,
supporting development, not judging.
This is a teacher of the biological future, not a sports referee.
4. What is the structure of such a lesson?
Each lesson consists of:
-
educational part (biology, physiology, psyche),
-
training part (resistance exercises, tests, progression),
-
reflective part (noting progress, becoming aware of changes).
It's a combination of learning, practice, and motivation – in one well-thought-out format.
5. Will there be grades?
No – The goal is not to “pass the standard”, but to develop biologically and understand yourself.
The student receives a Strength Passport that documents their progress – without assessment, only positive feedback and support.
6. Will every child do the same?
No – each student has an individual level and progression path.
Initial tests show you where to start, and subsequent lessons build strength step by step – in line with the pace of biological maturation.
7. What are the objectives of this subject?
Strengthening the muscular and nervous system,
Improving resistance to stress,
Understanding the biology of your body,
Development of health independence,
Prevention of diabetes, depression, obesity and back pain.
This is a new foundation for the health of children and adolescents.
8. Is such a lesson necessary since we already have biology and PE?
does not teach how to build muscle strength,
does not explain how training affects hormones, nerves, and psyche,
does not guide the student through the process of biological change.
The Strength and Health Lesson fills a fundamental gap in modern school education.
9. Does this subject change anything in the grading system?
Yes – it endures them in this space.
Instead of grades – we have progress, reflection, tracking biological change.
It is the student who decides whether and how to proceed – the teacher supports, does not hold accountable.
10. Is it realistic to introduce such a subject in every school?
Yes – as long as the school:
-
will install safe strength machines (e.g. TYTAX modules),
-
will train new types of teachers,
-
will implement a system of tests and strength passports.
